At the Poplar Bluff Early Childhood Center, we are coming into the new year expecting great things. And what I mean by that is we expect and believe that our students can do great things beyond our expectations. You will be amazed at what students can do if you only give them the chance, and do not hold them back. We are setting the bar high, and then we are going to watch our students jump over it. As Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates once said, "The first five years of life have so much to do with how the next 80 turn out.” Our goal at the Early Childhood Center is to make sure we give our students the best start possible in their schooling careers, and the chance to follow their dreams.

As the entry point for students and families into the Poplar Bluff school system, we also strive to strengthen our family and parent relationships. We are the first contact a family has with the district and we want it to be a positive experience for all. We invite and encourage parents to be a part of their child's schooling experience from the onset. You will not only make great memories, but will also let your children know that you believe in them and that you want them to be successful throughout their lives.
